Concero wasn’t born in a boardroom – it was created in a school

Back in the 1990s, when schools were struggling with embedding tech and lacking IT support, our founders—two IT technicians at the time—took a different approach.

They piloted an IT Support model and worked directly with school staff, solving real problems, providing hands-on training, and translating tech jargon into everyday language to help schools build confidence with technology.

This practical, customer-focused approach became the cornerstone of Concero. What began as a two-person support team has grown into a trusted partner for hundreds of schools and fintech industry leaders across the UK. Today, we’re proud to deliver tech solutions that truly make a difference.

We started in 2008 with a simple mission: support IT in schools and expand our vision across Wolverhampton and beyond. We’ve grown from our educational roots into the award-winning, people-focused IT support business we are today.
We do this by showing what’s possible and providing the right support at the right time, no matter where you are.

How do you say ‘Concero?’

We’ve heard a lot of… interesting ways to say our company name.
Like ‘Con-cher-ow’. Or ‘Conk-cero’. There are lots.

Just to clear it up, it’s ‘con-sear-oh’.
