Making IT available to everyone
Your school is open to all, and your IT system should be too.
Knowing where to start and how to get the most out of these tools can be complicated. We’ve created a couple of ways to get moving – a webinar to show you what’s possible, and a Digital Accessibility Benchmark to give you a path to greater accessibility.
We’ve been working with nasen – the National Association for Special Educational Needs – for years, and we’re proud to announce we’re now their headline sponsor.
Nasen support and champion the people who work with and for children and young people with SEND and learning differences.
They offer information, training, and resources to help you become effective, inclusive practitioners of SEND and learning difference support from the early years up to post-16.
What’s Possible Webinar
- What’s available through touch screen devices
- How information can be displayed clearly for all users
- Create content and control devices using screen, stylus, and voice commands
- Using captions in meetings, video calls, and online content
- Dictation options to express ideas fluidly
- How translation features built into Windows 11 can expand access to every student at once.
Digital Accessibility Benchmark
Part of our series of DFE Digital Technology Standards benchmarks, we help you assess your compliance with the DFE’s recommendations on Accessibility.
We assess your systems, software, and policies, look at your plans for upgrading your technology, and consider what you’re doing to support specific needs right now.
Our report provides a simple to follow assessment of how you’re meeting the standards, and recommendations for improvements, provided by our expert team who have worked on accessibility solutions for years. We even use these tools in our own business.
