Sometimes, the best events aren’t really about the event itself.
They’re about the people in the room.
On Friday night, customers, suppliers, friends, family and colleagues came together for our first EduKid Pub Quiz. There were quiz questions, raffle prizes, plenty of laughs and a healthy dose of competition, but what stood out most was the willingness of so many people to support a cause that matters.
Together, we raised an incredible £1,670 for EduKid.
As a business founded in education, supporting access to learning felt like a natural fit for us. We work with schools every day and see firsthand the opportunities education creates. Through our partnership with EduKid, we’re helping to remove barriers for children who might otherwise miss out on those same opportunities.
Our goal is to raise £11,000 to sponsor a classroom of 30 children in Peru for an entire year, providing access to education, resources and ongoing support. Friday night’s fundraiser takes us one step closer to making that happen.

Abbey Cleaning didn’t just sponsor a table, they cleaned up on the night too, taking home the Concero Pub Quiz trophy after a fiercely contested battle for first place. Congratulations to the team on their victory and their newly acquired bragging rights.
